Ease and comfort shoe aficionado loves her Fryes - I've been a ease and comfort shoe fanatic for years--but I was totally seduced by the amazing physical appearance of these boots. I admit I am a boot-a-holic, but have trapped with comfort and ease shoe manufacturers thus much. This 12 months, my two-year-old Born boots wore through at the sole, and my cobbler informed me that short of gluing new soles on, there was nothing he could do. "Shoes like that," he stated, "are made to be thrown absent." I then vowed to shell out a small much more on my footwear if it meant I could be comfy AND have shoes that final by means of the many years. I first ordered the Dimensions 8 one/two in the dark brown and they match perfectly! Nonetheless, I genuinely needed the brown calfskin and the dim brown leather was a tiny like a suede and I was worried they would stain or soak up drinking water if they acquired moist so when the calfskin arrived again into stock I ordered these. Those in an eight one/2 were incredibly restricted plus the leather had a negative dye occupation - strange spots all above the leather - so I returned these and received a different pair in dimension nine. The Zappos buyer service folks had been amazing about it. I have been donning that pair and after numerous wearings they have certainly loosened up a little. I am still left asking yourself if I had tried one more pair of eight 1/2's in the brown calfskin if they may have match a small looser? The very good point is that now I can wear a medium weight sock with them which is good by me. I have to say I love these boots -- the style is remarkable -- a true traditional. The leather and workmanship are great. There was no breaking in time at all which is rather unusual with boots. I was able to water-resistant these boots and there was no obvious adjust in the color of the leather. They appear great with jeans tucked in and would search great with a skirt. If it really is feasible to be in adore with a pair of boots, I am in enjoy with these!

I mainly put on an eight.five (not often a 9) and bought these in the 8.five. For me, they match accurate to dimension. Other evaluations mentioned how hard they had been to get on. Here's what you do: 1st, unbuckle the bottom strap; 2nd, put on a slippery/thin sock; 3rd, stand and pull up from the back of the boot and voila! I truthfully had no problems finding them on (with an common foot arch and even a small little bit vast of a foot). A single (small) complaint: for some strange reason, the footbed/padding is not one full piece. Beneath in which the ball of my foot (suitable underneath the toe line) it splits horizontally, so that when I consider my foot out it sort of peels back some and rolls. I cannot really feel it when the boot is on; nothing a little super glue can't repair, but nonetheless a bit of a bummer for this insane price tag tag. Overall: I love this design of Frye, really worth each penny and will last for seasons to can come. You can generally deliver 'em back totally free if you do not love them. You have no excuse not to appear lovable this fall!
