I stalked these for a long time before paying for and lastly pulled the set off when I received some Amex Rewards that I could use on Zappos. Even though I am normally an eight, I had really tried these in a seven.5 in person only due to the fact the shop only had 7.5 and eight.five and though eight.five was as well large, the 7.5 just match w/ the skinny sock I had on, and when I can get a 7.5 I do, as I feel my feet currently look massive for my 5'3 peak, and I also did not want the shaft any bigger so figured the seven.5 would be much better for me, so I ordered the seven.five in Slate. I locate them hard to get on w/ my jeans, only simply because I am attempting to get them on w/o my jeans riding up and it's not easy but as soon as I accomplish this, I like them so significantly, and I get so a lot of compliments from all demographics. My husband even enjoys them and released into tales of his Frye boots and roller skates(?) from back again in the day. Anyway, even though the 50 % dimensions down normally performs for me, at the end of the day, I really feel strain on the prime of my foot, but no other pain and I think as I break these in this will subside totally, I would nonetheless advocate trying your genuine dimensions first, esp. if you put on thick socks. Eventually, Zappos is awesome, as we all know - I ordered these on a Thursday afternoon, thinking *maybe* I'd get 'em on Saturday, but somehow I rec'd them on Friday all the way down in Atlanat - thanks Zappos, I enjoy you quite incredibly a lot!

Very first order of business: Zappos is uh-mazing! I paid for standard 4-5 organization day delivery and I obtained my boots in 2 days; adore that! On to the boots: They are breathtaking! I mostly put on an eight.5 (seldom a nine) and purchased these in the 8.5. For me, they match true to dimension. Other reviews said how tricky they had been to get on. Here is what you do: 1st, unbuckle the bottom strap; 2nd, place on a slippery/skinny sock; 3rd, stand and pull up from the back of the boot and voila! I actually had no complications finding them on (with an average foot arch and even a tiny bit broad of a foot). 1 (small) complaint: for some strange purpose, the footbed/padding is not one particular total piece. Below where the ball of my foot (appropriate beneath the toe line) it splits horizontally, so that when I get my foot out it sort of peels again some and rolls. I cannot really feel it when the boot is on; absolutely nothing a small super glue cannot repair, but still a bit of a bummer for this nuts price tag. Overall: I enjoy this design of Frye, worth each and every penny and will final for seasons to can come. You can usually send out 'em back again no cost if you do not enjoy them. You have no excuse not to look lovable this fall!

Comfort shoe aficionado enjoys her Fryes - I have been a comfort shoe fanatic for years--but I was totally seduced by the brilliant physical appearance of these boots. I admit I am a boot-a-holic, but have trapped with comfort shoe manufacturers therefore way. This 12 months, my two-year-old Born boots wore via at the sole, and my cobbler told me that brief of gluing new soles on, there was practically nothing he could do. "Footwear like that," he stated, "are created to be thrown absent." I then vowed to spend a little more on my shoes if it meant I could be comfy AND have footwear that final as a result of the many years. And I anxious that the Frye Veronica Slouch would be uncomfortable, or stiff, but I've been so content. Accurate, they do not have tremendous arch help, but you could include inserts. They have good bones, though, and are unbelievably calme searching, and are comfortable inside of an hour of putting them on. Did I point out I am tremendous picky about shoes? I bent these at the sole a number of time with my hands and they have been ready to put on for a three mile walk. I put on my shoes tough, and I'm hunting ahead to putting on these difficult for many years to come. Wanting super-bad as I do it.

I loved my Frye "Veronica Slouch" boots in brown so significantly, I wore them out of the box, sizzling off the UPS truck! (I almost tackled the driver.) I have to admit, my feet are strange: they have no arch in any way, vast forefoot, slim ankle, and so on. Indeed, a true conundrum, generally! But, the fit of the "Veronica" was very accommodating; both in cupped assistance of my heel as effectively as ample space for my instep and front foot! (In actuality, I could have gone up a fifty percent dimensions to accommodate winter season thick socks and nonetheless have the beautiful match!) The other in addition, is the calf is far more than ample, but articulated down to the ankle to show the lines of a "sexy" fit, or equal to an "equestrian" search, with a light slouch to the burnished leather but not too soft as to collapse totally. In regards to the leather, it is actually outstanding good quality calf (calf or goat?), the building is complimented by a slice of leather that has no all-natural blemishes or "dry spots" to interfere with the style and design aesthetic or properly moist leather. The burnished complete I have on my brown pair offers delicate darkish hues at toe and heel, to give the impression you've owned them for many years, yet I would not call it "distressed"; it appears perfect. Excellent toe space, wonderful all close to fit, which include the operating buckles at leading and ankle (really easy to get boot on!), and if you have funky ft with a medium to large calf, you'll still get that gorgeous slouch match! The finest dollars I have spent on something in 4 months and Zappos handled me like I was gold, leading consumer company! 5 stars on the boots, ten as well as stars on the tremendous cool people today at Zappos!

I first ordered the Dimensions eight 1/2 in the dim brown and they fit perfectly! However, I really wished the brown calfskin and the dim brown leather was a small like a suede and I was concerned they would stain or soak up h2o if they obtained moist so when the calfskin arrived back again into stock I ordered these. These in an 8 one/2 had been quite restricted additionally the leather had a undesirable dye occupation - strange spots all over the leather - so I returned these and received a different pair in dimensions nine. The Zappos client services individuals have been excellent about it. I have been donning that pair and right after several wearings they have surely loosened up a small. I am still left asking yourself if I had attempted a different pair of 8 1/2's in the brown calfskin if they may possibly have fit a tiny looser? The great thing is that now I can wear a medium weight sock with them which is good by me. I have to say I enjoy these boots -- the style is amazing -- a actual classic. The leather and workmanship are fantastic. There was no breaking in time at all which is rather uncommon with boots. I was capable to water-proof these boots and there was no visible change in the color of the leather. They look excellent with jeans tucked in and would look excellent with a skirt. If it is doable to be in love with a pair of boots, I am in adore with these!
